How do you charge for your services?

We offer three different services - load testing, performance monitoring and testing assistance. For the load and performance testing you can Pay-As-You-Go (Testing On-Demand), which means you only pay for the resources you use or you can pay on a monthly subscription basis. Our rates are determined by two factors: the number of instances you use and how long you use them. Testing assistance fees depend upon the services needed. How do you handle partial hours?

A partial hour is when the duration of a CloudPuncher test is less than an hour. Since CloudPuncher runs on top of Amazon Web Services which charge by the full hour. This means that if you use only a partial hour of testing time, you will get charged for a full hour.

I plan to use CloudPuncher's On-Demand testing. How will I keep track of my spending?

CloudPuncher's account management system makes it very easy for you to keep track of the testing you've done and how much you have spent for testing in one easy to find location within your own private account page. Your account history will make it easy to determine if it makes sense to upgrade to a CloudPuncher subscription.

I plan to Subscribe. How is payment handled and are there any additional benefits?

As a Subscriber, you will work with your account manager to identify your recurring testing needs in terms of monthly testing hours, maximum number of virtual users you will need to test each month, performance monitoring requirements and number of months. These variables will be used to create a flat subscription rate that will be automatically processed against your credit card each month. You do get additional benefits such as significant discounts off the On-Demand pricing and priority support.
