The recording tool records all the communication between your browser and the server, including requests for static pages, stylesheets, javascript files, form submissions and AJAX requests. In addition to the traditional HTML based websites, CloudPuncher Recorder can also capture and record the client/server traffic between applications using Flex, Flash and Silverlight components (or applications entirely built with these technologies). Once you are finished recording your tests, upload them to your CloudPuncher.com account using the same recording tool. Once a test is uploaded, you can configure test scenarios and subsequently launch them to execute load tests. A scenario combines the recorded workflow with various parameters including virtual user allocation policy, termination condition, and server-side monitors.
